Dr. Cohen - A Brief HistoryDr. Cohen was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida. He is a board certified podiatric surgeon who has practiced in the Middle Tennessee area since 1995. Dr. Cohen earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and went to The William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed a one year preceptorship at the Pompano Podiatry Group in Pompano Beach, Florida and completed his 2 year surgical residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. He was in private practice in Florida for several years prior to moving to Tennessee. Dr. Cohen is Board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (www.abps.org) and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (www.acfas.org). He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association. He resides in the middle Tennessee area with his wife and children.
Dr. Baker - A Brief HistoryDr. Baker was born in Manhasset, Long Island, New York but was raised for most of his life in Queens, NY. He earned his undergraduate degree (B.A.) from Queens College of the City University of New York. Dr. Baker graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine with the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He completed a one-year Primary Podiatric Medicine residency at the Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn and Queens, a one-year Rotating Podiatric residency at the Jamaica Hospital in Jamaica, NY, and a one-year Rotating Podiatric Residency at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Baker then entered the United States Army as an active duty officer where he completed a two-year Podiatric Surgical residency at the Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC. He continued as an interim staff foot and ankle Surgeon and residency faculty member at this facility. Dr. Baker moved to Tennessee in the summer of 2004. He completed his Army service as Chief of Podiatry at the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, KY. Dr. Baker is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and rearfoot reconstructive and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (www.abps.org). Dr. Baker is currently the Chief of Podiatry at St. Thomas Hospital.
